From breaking your fast to baking on a Sunday, here's how we like ours.
Break your fast
Dates are the traditional first bite at iftar. Try soft Ajwa or Sukkary with a glass of water or milk.
Stuff them
Slice open a Khalas or Safawi, take out the pit and fill with almonds, walnuts or cream cheese.
Bake with them
Chopped dates, date sugar and date syrup go straight into muffins, rusks and a good date loaf.
Blend them
Add two or three Barni dates to a smoothie or overnight oats for natural sweetness.

WhatsApp usWhat is Rutab?
Rutab is a fresh, soft date, frozen at its juicy stage instead of being left to dry. Keep the tub in the freezer and take out what you need about 20 minutes before eating.
Which date is the sweetest?
Sukkary is the sweetest date we stock, followed by Safawi and Khalas. For something milder, try Khudri or Mabroom. The taste guide above shows all seven.
How should I store my dates?
Keep dry dates sealed in their zip pack in a cool, dry cupboard, or in the fridge to keep them soft for longer. Rutab tubs go straight into the freezer.
Do you deliver?
Orders are collected from our shop in Century City. If you need delivery, choose "Ask about delivery" when you order and we'll let you know what's possible.
Can I order in bulk for Ramadan, events or gifts?
Send us a WhatsApp with what you need and how much, and we'll let you know what we can do.
Why are the packs different colours?
The colour shows the size: the dark pouch is 250g, the white pouch is 500g and the silver pouch is 1kg. Tap a size on any card to see its pack.
